Facilities:
There are many venues in our area with excellent surfaces and good parking. We are currently using Lloyds Farm at Hales , Rodbaston Equestrian Centre and Watt Meadow Equestrian Centre. We are lucky to be able to host top trainers who provide excellent training for our members.
Equestrian Activities:
We are a small affiliated club based in Staffordshire and are part of Area 20. We organise regular dressage and showjumping clinics during the year as well as hosting own competitions during the Summer.
Woodside is our large Hunter Trial event which is held during the Spring/Summer and is a BHS qualifier. This is a very popular event and is attended by members and non members from all over the country!
During 2011 Bradley Dale Riding Club members have been extremely successful at many area qualifiers and championships bringing home many rosettes and trophies! Well done to everyone! This year we had members competing in dressage, show jumping, hunter trials, horse trials and have also had entries in the dressage to music!
This year we have also recruited several Junior members, with some of them competing at some of the Area qualifiers.
We are very proud to have held our first Sponsored Ride over Cannock Chase this year - helping to raise over £500 for the Midlands Air Ambulance and we are hoping to host this event again next year!
Social activities:
We run a varied program of social events, including, quiz evenings, barbeques, social meals, evening talks, Ladies nights at the races, etc. However, we are small enough that every fixture has a social element to it.
The committee are already working hard on new equestrian and social events for the year 2011/2012 and we all look forward to seeing you at some of these events during the year.
